Until this very morning 19 May 2013, I had no idea how dengue fever was such a growing, yet avoidable, health crisis in the country of my father’s birth. What I share with the citizens of Puerto Rico by means of this open online letter, will not be found or supported by the WHO & CDC. Any cures, for any disease, no matter how worthy they are deemed to be by citizens of the world, if they are not patent, blind studied for many wasteful years, and marketed to the world by international pharmaceutical giants– they are often criticized as being ‘grandma recipes (antidotes)’. Truth has come back to haunt the WHO & CDC and all their indoctrinated parrot speaking professional health-care institutional naysayers who espouse– “There is no cure for dengue fever”!

In a not to distant round table discussion in a group I accepted as friends, the topic of which has little import to this concern at hand this morning, in an unfriendly manner, someone boisterously said; “What do you care”? I rose to my feet; “I do care”! I walked out of that group weekly meeting and am no longer committed to making weekly appearances. I drop in now and then, in my usual friendly manner.
What do I care about Puerto Rico and the citizens of my father’s birth– I love my name and heritage, need I say more. If I did not share an invitation with the citizens of the land of my father’s birth– it would be shameful. This is the link to the blog I author in the hope of saving lives; senior1938voice.wordpress.com.
Camote tea / sweet potato tea
Among all the other plants, research studies have shown that Camote tops may be used as a remedy to Dengue fever. It is said to help increase platelet counts that would help recover from Dengue. Camote tops can also be used to treat other diseases or sicknesses like diabetes, heart disease, cancer particularly colon and stomach cancer, problems on bowel movement and high blood pressure.
The next time someone, especially a naysayer who claims there is no cure for dengue fever, devalues a research finding, if they are a professional with degrees attached to their educational achievements, ask them; “Did you have to write a research paper and defend it before a panel of learned professors”? When medical professionals, or anyone for that matter devalues research findings and endorsements, they need to be reminded, it is part of the creditable means to get to the truth, even– grandma recipes/antidotes.
