Loving your cellphone until –death do us part -1

Update of addition to site name; –adding & MUCH MORE to VDEH was motivated by realizing it is not only viruses that rob us of our health and lives, cell phones, which the world-over, held close to our bodies, and pillows for some as they sleep; –all to often, are destroying our very well-being, and for some, their very lives. This is the 2nd topic (cell phones) of a series of writings to be shared; –major common concerns.

*Man killed after his mobile phone explodes, severing an artery in his neck

“Local Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News reported that on January 30 at 7.30pm a shop employee heard a loud bang – and saw her colleague lying on the floor in a *pool of blood”.

Why is this posting at VDEH&M:

this is a personal concern
this is a family concern
this concerns all those who own cell phones – do you?

The deceased victim, 20 year life was taken away by something we all do, charging the batteries, a new one at that;

*“local reports claimed the incident was the ninth recorded mobile phone explosion in China since 2002”.

Was this a rare incident:

*“Also in 2007 a South Korean man was found dead in a quarry with a burning mobile phone stuck to his chest. It was initially thought his phone had exploded, killing him”.

It would be a great disservice to you, after reading the above, not posting;

–*“Chinese media published advice for mobile phone users after the explosions, including”:

  1. me:/senior1938voice; –6. family members, not I, have long conversations on their phones w/o using earphones. 7. I have done this only on rare occasion, not a practice. 8. When out of the house, the phone is in my bag. I’ve put my phone in my pocket too, but it is not a common practice; –reading this, never again… you never know when a battery will explode. No wonder there are airline restrictions on cell phone. It is vital to share this with family members and those we have contacts with. Do you agree! Please comment, this is a vital sharing… /NM
